Consistent with messasing from U-M President Schlissel and Dean DeRue, the Sanger Leadership Center has a commitment to the safety and well-being of our community during the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
As the university remains open, we are committed to being a learning resource if we can be helpful. Within the coming week, we will be posting some resources and tips on managing yourself and others during this time.
Additionally, we will be continuing several of our programs in a remote format. Below, please find a list of our winter semester programs and our plans for each. If you are signed up for one of the programs below, you will also receive an email with more specific details.
Sanger Program Updates
Ross Leaders Academy (3/13, 3/20, and final celebration)
We will be delivering sessions remotely. We still plan to meet remotely tomorrow, 3/13, as we have gotten feedback that members of the community would like to come together. Our topic will be resilience, which is highly relevant at this time. We will be sending fellows an email with how and when to join the video conference.
BBA LDRx (3/19, 3/26, 4/2)
We are working on a way to bring closure to this year’s program, which may include remote meetings. We will share details with participants and facilitators in the next few days
Undergraduate Leadership Crisis Challenge (3/26-3/27)
Due to the size and scale of this program, we have made the difficult decision to cancel it. The experience and value of the learning cannot be replicated well on an online platform without significant planning time. We plan to offer LCC to undergraduates again in March 2021.
Story Lab Finale (4/7)
Due to the size of the audience at this program, we are canceling the in-person, on-stage event. However, we are looking into offering an alternative delivery mechanism for storytellers that could include audio or video.
Coaching clients will be offered remote sessions and will be contacted individually by their coach.
For any program not mentioned above, we will be making an effort to reschedule remotely. Sanger team members will reach out to you individually if you are involved.
Thank you for your understanding and please take care of yourself.
