Sanger Faculty Director Lindy Greer and Sanger Research Lab member Maxim Sytch are featured in the July–August 2026 issue of Harvard Business Review for their article, “What companies get wrong about decision rights,” coauthored with Jennifer Jordan of IMD.

Drawing on years of research and experience advising organizations, the authors identify four common mistakes leaders make when establishing decision rights and explain how teams can improve collaboration, accelerate decision-making, and build stronger buy-in.

The article explores why decision-making tools such as RACI often fall short in practice and offers practical guidance for helping teams clarify roles, navigate conflict, and adapt as priorities evolve.
