Sanger Faculty Champion Ethan Kross Named As A 2023 AAAS Fellow

Ethan Kross, professor of psychology at the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, was named a 2023 American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow. This honor is awarded to members whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications in service to society have distinguished them from their peers.

Kross’ research focuses on understanding how people can effectively regulate their thoughts and emotions, with implications for mental health and well-being. His work has been noted for its innovative approaches and its potential to inform therapeutic interventions. In his role as a Sanger faculty champion, Kross recently brought his insights to Michigan Ross while interviewing the Chief National Correspondent of ABC News, Matt Gutman, as part of Sanger’s Leadership Dialogues speaker series.
