Expanding Leadership Horizons for Executive MBAs

When Nicolle Marinec, EMBA ’27, joined the Michigan Ross Executive MBA Program (EMBA), she was looking for more than academic rigor—she wanted a community that could help her grow as a leader. “Beyond academics, the phenomenal training opportunities and resources from the Zell Lurie Institute and the Sanger Leadership Center are incredible and set Michigan Ross even further apart from other EMBA programs,” she said.

Her experience reflects what makes leadership development at Ross distinctive. The Sanger Leadership Center equips EMBA students with hands-on opportunities to strengthen self-awareness, practice collaboration, and earn the Michigan Ross Leader Endorsement (MRLE)—a credential that recognizes intentional leadership growth. Using the Leadership Roadmap, EMBAs can now explore how Sanger’s programs fit into their professional goals and continue developing the skills to lead with purpose.
