Our Continued Commitment to Anti-Racism: Progress Update

by | Sep 3, 2020 | Sanger News

The Sanger Leadership Center stands by its commitment to anti-racism and action plan as well as the Ross Commitment to Action. We can only dismantle systemic racism and make meaningful change by uniting diverse communities through courageous, accountable, and inclusive leadership. As a leadership center and as individuals, we are on an active growth journey to understand our own biases, listen, learn, and identify ways we can lead with anti-racist action. We recognize that our team currently lacks racial diversity and we are committed to improving the representation of our Sanger team, among our other initiatives around racial justice and DEI.

Today we are sharing our progress on our diversity action plan. This document will be available anytime and will be updated quarterly with our progress.

As we enter the fall semester, please engage with us, share your ideas and concerns, or please join our open (virtual) community conversation on Wednesday, September 30, 5-6 PM. We commit to holding ourselves accountable and we ask you to join us in that effort. If you would like to learn more, visit our page on inclusive and equitable leadership.
