Detroit High Schoolers Engage with the Michigan Model

by | Dec 6, 2017 | Business + Impact Challenge, Michigan Model

Michigan Ross students not only learn about and embody the Michigan Model of Leadership, they teach it. Cassie Hoffman, Master of Account (MAcc) ’18, headed to Cornerstone Leadership & Business Private High School in Detroit earlier this fall with our team to teach 10th and 12th graders about their leadership styles and dynamics.

The session built off work the MAcc Class of 2018 accomplished during the Ross Impact Challenge program this past September, where students worked in teams to build curriculum ideas focused on the Michigan Model. The ideas were shared with Cornerstone high school instructors as part of the “Profiles in Leadership” course that will be taught during the Winter semester at the school.
