The University of Michigan has once again been recognized as a national leader in higher education, earning the title of No. 1 public university in the country in a new ranking from Subject.
The ranking placed Michigan No. 14 overall among colleges nationwide, making it the highest-ranked public institution ahead of schools including the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Virginia. The recognition highlights Michigan’s continued excellence across academics, student outcomes, selectivity, and campus experience.
At the Sanger Leadership Center, we’re proud to be part of a university community that continues to lead through innovation, impact, and student success.
