On September 13, 2024, the Sanger Leadership Center hosted a Leadership Dialogues panel featuring alumni André Branch, MBA ’99, SVP and GM of MAC Cosmetics, and Jamie (Epstein) Rosen, BBA ’09, from Hasbro.
This event is part of the Leadership Dialogues series, which invites prominent industry leaders to share their insights on leadership and personal development. Previous speakers have included executives from diverse sectors, offering valuable lessons from their unique experiences.
The discussion was moderated by Professor Sue Ashford, who joined Branch and Rosen in exploring key themes of leadership growth. Branch emphasized the importance of taking ownership of one’s leadership journey, asserting that personal responsibility is crucial for long-term success. He encouraged attendees to focus on their individual goals and paths for development.
Michelle Austin, Sanger’s assistant director of programs and partnerships, highlighted the significance of these discussions for aspiring leaders. “These conversations help shape how we think about our personal and professional journeys,” Austin said. “Anyone can take control of their leadership development, and the experiences shared during our Leadership Dialogues sessions exemplify that.”
