Meet the 2023 Michigan Ross Outstanding Leaders

Congratulations to the Michigan Ross Class of 2023! At the commencement ceremony this week, the Sanger Leadership Center will proudly present seven students with the Michigan Ross Outstanding Leadership Award. The award recognizes graduating students who have made impactful contributions and demonstrated outstanding achievement within the Master of Management, Master of Supply Chain Management, Master of Accounting, Global MBA, Evening MBA, or Weekend MBA programs.

Meet the recipients below, soon-to-be proud U-M alumni!

Madeline Adler

Madeline Adler, MAcc ’23

Madeline is a proud double Michigan Wolverine, Ross BBA ‘22 and MAcc ‘23. After graduation, Maddie will remain here at the “Best University in the World” to pursue her PhD in accounting. She is unbelievably grateful for her MAcc classmates, fellow MAcc Student Association leaders, the Ross faculty, and her ultimate role models in business and in life — her mother and father.

Alec Anderson

Alec Anderson, MM ’23

Alec was born and raised in Ann Arbor and is an avid lover of nature, animals, and all things Great Lakes. After studying international relations and applied statistics as an undergraduate, he joined the Master of Management Class of ‘23. Upon graduation, Alec is moving to Denver to work as a data analyst.

William Brady

William Brady, WMBA ’23

William (Bill) earned his undergraduate degree in accountancy from Miami University and is a proud graduate of the Weekend MBA ‘23 cohort. While at Ross, he served as the president of the Weekend MBA program and earned the Michigan Ross Leadership Endorsement from the Sanger Leadership Center. After graduation, Bill will continue his career at PwC in strategy consulting. He credits his parents, Joseph and Eileen, for their unwavering support in helping him get where he is today.

Tsuyoshi Kondo

Tsuyoshi Kondo, GMBA ’23

Born and raised in Japan, Tsuyoshi (Yoshi) is a member of GMBA ’23 cohort. He thanks the U-M and Ross communities for their support. After graduation, Yoshi will join Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and pursue a management career.

Faith Chun Ren Lee

Faith Chun Ren Lee, MSCM ’23

Faith came to Ross as a Fulbright Scholar (Singapore) pursuing her interest in sustainable supply chain management. Post-graduation, she will join Resource Recycling Systems, a “reverse supply chain” consultancy firm based in Ann Arbor. Faith is incredibly blessed with the relationships she developed while learning and working with her MSCM cohort.

Amanda Uphold

Amanda Uphold, Online MBA ’23

Amanda Uphold lives in Austin, TX with her husband Kyle and their three kids. With a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Texas, she worked in corporate finance before taking a career pause to be a stay-at-home parent while her kids were young. Amanda is looking forward to utilizing her Ross MBA when she returns to the paid workforce later this year.

Rory Meyer

Rory Meyer, MBAn ’23

Prior to joining the MBAn program, Rory earned a degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan. During her time at Ross, she served on the student board, fostering community within the program. She is incredibly grateful for the lifelong connections she has made at U-M and for all of the support she has received from her professors and peers. She is looking forward to beginning her career in data analytics following graduation.
