The Sanger Ambassadors are a dedicated group of student leaders who can help answer your questions about our center and our leadership model. Throughout the year, you can find them at prospective student events, behind-the-scenes at our large programs, or even dropping into your classroom to tell others about an upcoming leadership opportunity. Joel Adu-Brimpong

Master of Health Informatics, School of Information, 2019

Bio

Joel is a master’s degree candidate in health informatics at the U-M School of Information and a Dow Sustainability Fellow at the Graham Sustainability Institute. He is also an alumnus of the Ross Leaders Academy.

Prior to graduate school, Joel served as a Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Joel’s interests lie at the intersection of emerging technologies and analytics and behavioral economics to achieve a more accessible, affordable, equitable and quality healthcare, especially in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

Antara Ajjampur

Bio

Antara is a senior pursuing her BBA with a minor in applied statistics. She will be joining Cantor Fitzgerald in their healthcare investment banking group after graduation. On campus, she is involved in Net Impact, a student organization focused on social impact and sustainable business, and Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity.

In her free time, Antara enjoys traveling, working out, hiking, and trying new restaurants.

Ivan Aragon

Bio

Ivan Aragon is a second-year MBA student. He has participated in Story Lab, Legacy Lab, and the Leadership Crisis Challenge. He is heavily involved in leadership including serving as Michigan Ross MBA council VP of Finance, VP of Corporate Finance for the MBA Finance Club, President of the Latter-Day Saint Business Student Association, and President of MI Mob (a social dance club).

Ivan interned last summer with BrightView Landscapes. Prior to returning to school he worked in the Phoenix, Arizona area as a mortgage loan originator and had various management roles in supply chain and sales for various firms.

A native of Chihuahua, Mexico, Ivan moved to Phoenix as a child. He has an associate’s degree in business from Phoenix College and a bachelor’s in finance from Arizona State University. In his free time, Ivan plays volleyball and is an avid salsa dancer.

James Bargmann

James is a current Ross BBA junior who would like to pursue a career in consulting. Coming from New Jersey, he chose the University of Michigan because of his extensive family legacy here and the opportunities for career development at Ross. His experience with the Sanger Leadership Center has been participating in the Crisis Challenge and working as a receptionist in the Center for Centers for the past two years. His hobbies include playing basketball, watching Michigan football, and playing video games.

He hopes to help students learn more about Sanger and encourage them to participate in its programs. He also wishes to further develop himself as a leader through the guidance of the Sanger team.

Emma Barrasso

Emma is a second-year MBA student at Ross. After participating in numerous Sanger Leadership Center programs, including the Ross Leaders Academy, Emma joined the Sanger Ambassador Program. She spends her time working to inspire and enable people to be better tomorrow than we are today. Emma enjoys open dialogue and lively conversations that challenge viewpoints to broaden perspectives for all involved.

Prior to coming to Ross, Emma worked in both engineering and marketing in companies ranging in size from start-up to multi-national. She earned her undergraduate degree in engineering physics and nanotechnology from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

In her free time, Emma enjoys reading and creating artwork.

Juan P. Borjas

Juan Borjas is a proud student in the Master of Management (MM) program at Ross. He graduated from Miami Dade College with an associate’s in biotechnology and then pursued a bachelor’s in dental hygiene from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is a firm believer in being PASSIONATE about what you do!

Juan enjoys helping organizations strategize and strive for exceptional results, which is why he chose to pursue the MM program. Ehaab

Bio

Ehaab is a second-year MBA student at Ross. He is a Jordanian-born Malaysianized Indian now with bacon (since he has now moved to a country where bacon is on everything and has a poor sense of humor).

As a non-traditional engineer, Ehaab has used science, design thinking, and the power of empathy and storytelling to create a unique understanding of user needs to deliver products that truly solve pain-points. He co-founded General Motors’ in-house incubator and consultancy that supports all functions across the globe. He has experience in program and product management at GM.

He has earned an M.S. from the IIT, Chicago and a B.Eng in mechanical engineering from the IIU Malaysia. Ehaab is also a board member at Motor City Scholars to expand educational opportunities for Detroit-area youth.

Feng Gao

Feng is a second-year MBA student at Ross. Prior to coming to Ross, he worked as an international key account manager for Porsche at the headquarters in Germany. As a German citizen with a Chinese heritage and global mindset, Feng has lived in six different countries and speaks multiple languages. He is passionate about diverse cultures and connecting people and has traveled to 41 countries.

At Ross, Feng focuses on global strategy and positive organizational scholarship. He plans to transition his focus to technology, where he will be able to have a bigger impact by helping people from around the world better connected and solving their problems with cutting-edge solutions.

Feng has been actively participating in Sanger programs such as the Business+Impact Challenge, Leadership Crisis Challenge, LDRx, Story Lab, and Legacy Lab.

Joe Grandominico

Bio

Joe is a second-year MBA student from Ohio. He holds a BBA from The Ohio State University with a specialization in management information systems. While at OSU, he was also a three-time Varsity Letter winner and an Academic All American on the Men’s Varsity Wrestling Team.

After working in information technology, Joe transitioned to a strategic marketing role at Owens Corning where he is a product manager. As a lifelong athlete, he has always had an internal drive and saw pursuing his MBA as the best opportunity to grow my capabilities.   

He is proud to be an alumnus of the Ross Leaders Academy, where he learned not only how to improve himself, but how to be a better leader.

Jueui Hong is a senior pursuing her BBA with an emphasis in Technology and a minor in Applied Statistics. Her campus involvement includes the Michigan Community Scholars Program, Net Impact, The Michigan Daily, Comprehensive Scholars Program, and Detroit Entrepreneurship Network.

Jueui has also been very involved with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across campus. At Ross, her main focus has been integrating a deep interest in social impact with business initiatives.

Mira Kaufman

Mira is a sophomore BBA student. Prior to coming to Ross, Mira was a competitive figure skater with Olympic aspirations. She also served on the Teen Advisory Council of the Neutral Zone, volunteered with the Community Action Network and delivered a TEDx talk called “Re-Define Success.” Mira’s business and leadership interests are fueled by the desire to further understand the world around her and apply that knowledge to create meaningful social impact.

When she isn’t at the rink skating or coaching others, you can find her at +LAB huddles where she serves as a lead fellow with the Center for Positive Organizations, co-chairing the Philanthropy Committee of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, working on an entrepreneurial venture called “being,” or at an optiMize Core Organizing Team meeting.  

Meghan Kiesel

Meghan is a second-year MBA student and co-chair of Sanger’s LDRx program. Professionally, she is focused on human capital and strategic HR. Before Ross, Meghan was at Deloitte doing human capital consulting in Chicago. Coming from a liberal arts background before her career in consulting, Meghan came to Ross primarily to deepen her business knowledge and develop into a more well-rounded professional. Additionally, she wanted to expand her leadership skills to make sure she can make a positive impact in any organization she heads into following Ross. That has driven Meghan’s involvement in a wide variety of Sanger programs, including LDRx, Story Lab, Legacy Lab, and Leadership Crisis Challenge.

Bidnam Lee

Bidnam is a second-year MBA at Ross. In addition to being a Sanger Ambassador, he is the VP of Story Lab for the Design+Business Club and VP of Marketing and Communications for Net Impact.

Prior to business school, Bidnam was a marketing copywriter, most recently writing for Nike Running in Portland, OR (ironic, given his general disdain for running). He also coached high school lacrosse for seven years, leading Beaverton High School to its first state championship in 2016.

Bidnam holds a bachelor of arts in English from Whitman College. He is passionate about the intersection of business and social impact, the intentional design of space, and being a perfectly average pickup basketball player.

Aaron Ngo

Aaron is a BBA junior at the University of Michigan. He’s interested in how businesses can create positive change and address pressing challenges, specifically surrounding financial inclusion, community economic development, and job creation.

Prior to attending U-M, he went to Cheltenham High School, a small public school right outside of Philadelphia. There, Aaron served on various positions within student council and was co-captain of the cross country team.

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys reading, running, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.

Alex O'Brien

Alex is a sophomore studying Biology, Health, and Society on a pre-medical track. He is involved in many different programs on campus; he currently works in the Office of Student Conflict Resolution and volunteers at the hospital, and has been involved in organizations such as the Basketball Pep Band, Redefining Innovation in Medical Engineering, and Net Impact. He has participated in several Sanger experiences such as LDRx and the Leadership Crisis Challenge.

Alex is from Cincinnati, Ohio, where in high school he was in Debate Team, Academic Team, and Cross Country. He also was fortunate enough to have studied abroad in places such as Peru and Kenya.

Alex hopes to encourage more students across campus to take advantage of Sanger opportunities that he believes bring out one’s full potential. Alex’s hobbies include reading, music, running, biking, and beating his friends in Guitar Hero.

After learning about the Michigan Model of Leadership during her freshman year, Jackie was intrigued by Sanger (her leadership style is Green). Jenny is a full-time MBA student at the Ross School of Business. As a first-year student, she acted as one of the directors of Story Lab with the Design+Business Club, helping organize storytelling workshops and events aimed at enabling Ross students to develop key leadership skills such empathy and effective communication. Currently, she serves as Co-President of Tech Club and will be joining Amazon as a Product Manager upon graduation.

Prior to Ross, Jenny worked as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance practice at TD Securities, specializing in structuring debt financing for telecom infrastructure companies.

Jenny holds a bachelor of science in finance and accounting from NYU Stern School of Business. Her hobbies include reading mystery/thriller novels and playing board games with friends.

Jeffrey Zhang

Jeffrey is a BBA senior who is involved in Net Impact and Sanger by helping to coordinate the Leadership Crisis Challenge (LCC). He helps with writing and adapting the cases as well as the execution of the LCC behind the scenes and supporting the board presentations.

Additionally, Jeff is a member of The Michigan Daily Business Department, Smile Bringer Singers, and the Michigan Community Scholars Program alumni board. He enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, playing piano, watching movies and TV shows, cooking, and playing sports.
